Kriti Sanon’s Relatives Had Warned Her Before She Entered Bollywood; Told Her The Industry Is Not Good

Kriti Sanon is an exceptionally talented and hard-working actress, who has successfully managed to make her own name in the Hindi film industry without any support or filmy background. She made her debut in Bollywood with Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff and went on to wow the audience with her performance in hits such as Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi and Housefull 4. However, her journey was not easy and she had to face a lot of pressure from the society.

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Kriti opened up about the same and remembered the beginning of her career. She revealed, “There was a point when I had just thought of coming to Mumbai and trying in films. Then, there were a few relatives and friends felt, 'I don't think it's going to work, industry achhi nahi hai. Bohut log struggle kar rahe hai; shaadi nahi hogi tumhari jaldi. I have heard things like that. A lot of that.” Well, today the very same people who warned her about the industry are all praises for her. Kriti feels great about it, especially considering the fact that she was an engineer and never even thought about coming this way.

The actress will next be seen on the big screen in her much-awaited film Mimi, a remake of the 2011 Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy! She will also begin shooting for Second Innings with Rajkummar Rao soon after the lockdown is over.
