    The late actor Irrfan Khan appeared last in the film Angrezi Medium, but his fans in India and worldwide surely would have loved to see him more in other films as well. His death is a big loss for the entertainment industry.

    For the uninitiated, Tumbbad director Anand Gandhi shared an extremely good rapport with Irrfan and he was almost a part of the film when last-minute changes and alterations left him out. And now, Anand in a recent media interaction has revealed Irrfan would have worked with him in his next project.

    Talking to Mumbai Mirror, the filmmaker revealed, “We explored the possibility of his presence in Tumbbad before the final script and schedule changed things. He’d have been in Emergence too. I wish I had created something with him.”

    Anand has been working on a script that revolves around four frontline women scientists who are fighting a contagion. He also revealed how his team has been working out of his Goa office for the past two years and the ongoing pandemic has not really affected his work. 

    Shedding more light on the film he stated, his idea behind making the film is not to make the first but the most well-researched film about a pandemic. He went on to state, it will be a big-budget project and that they are collaborating with an American studio and that the film will start in 2021.
