Late Rishi Kapoor Seen Humming A Tune Enjoying A Fine NYC Evening In This Bittersweet Throwback Shared By Neetu Kapoor

It has been almost 11 months since Rishi Kapoor’s demise and his wife Neetu Kapoor who frequently shares cherished memories of him on social media marked the occasion in a special way. Remembering the late actor Neetu posted a video of Rishi Kapoor which was shot in New York while the actor was there for his cancer treatment.

“Since today is Rishiji’s 11 month prayer meet felt like sharing some moments from our last trip to NYC.” Neetu wrote in the caption. The late actor can be seen having a gala time with him wife as he hums a tune walking beside her while she records their evening on a video made in the selfie mode. The actor who was clearly enjoying a mesmerizing view in front of him even asked Neetu to turn the camera and film the view in front of them and not him. “Show this na, what are you showing me?” he says to Neetu who is smiling beside him.

Several celebrities showered love on the video soon after it was posted by the actress. Anupam Kher who was Rishi's close friend poetically wrote in Hindi, “Aaj phir teri kahaani yaad aayi,” with a heart emoji. Rishi and Neetu’s daughter Riddhima also posted a heart emoji.

On her own social media account, Riddhima posted a family picture featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, herself and her daughter Samara. She wrote with the picture, “Your love will light our way- Your memory will forever be with us! Always in our hearts.”

Rishi Kapoor spent a year in New York getting treated for Leukemia. The actor returned to India after he was declared cancer free but later in 2019 he relapsed and in April 2020 succumbed to the disease.
