Liam Hemsworth Files For Divorce While Miley Cyrus 'Didn't Expect It', Is Disappointed By The Actor's Decision

It has only been days since Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus announced their separation after being married for just a couple of months. Needless to say that the fans of the couple were shocked and really disheartened by the news. The Last Song actor has now gone ahead and filed for divorce on 21 August and according to reports Miley is really 'disheartened' by his decision. 

The couple that has been known to be dating off and on finally tied the knot in December 2018 and surprised one and all. Marital bliss, however, was not for them and a few days before the news of their separation broke out, Miley Cyrus was spotted kissing Kaitlynn Carter who is actor Brody Jenner’s ex-wife. The pictures went viral on the internet soon after which on 10 August Miley and Liam made it official that they are separating. 

On Liam filing for divorce, a source told Entertainment Weekly, “Liam’s decision to file for divorce is sad, but in the end, it was never going to work. They are too different. Liam never wanted to share Miley with anyone. He loves her and he is far too traditional. He finally realized he just wants to start fresh. Liam has come to terms that it was time to move on. Liam’s family has been incredibly supportive. They are relieved it’s over.”

Another source told People's Magazine that Miley wasn't really expecting Liam to go ahead with a divorce. “She didn’t expect it and is a bit disappointed, but she is still doing well and has obviously moved on as well.” The source also mentioned, “It’s just hard for her to think that she will never have this again with Liam. There are really so many things that she loves about him.”

It seems there are still lingering feeling the couple has for each other but for now, the two have definitely moved on.
