    Delhi cast its vote for the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 yesterday and the Bollywood stars who hail from the capital ensured that they took a break from their respective schedules and made their vote count. Celebs like Sidharth Malhotra, Taapsee Pannu, and Swara Bhaskar were in Delhi to vote for the elections and later shared pictures of their inked fingers online.

    These Delhiites who reside in Mumbai were especially in the city to vote and that sure says a lot about them being good citizens and role models. Swara Bhaskar who has been a big supporter of the Aam Admi Party during the campaigns was seen waiting in the queue at the polling booth. On Twitter, the Veere Di Wedding actress wrote, ‘I voted for #India Hope you are voting too! #Delhi #LokSabhaElections2019’.



    Sidharth Malhotra whose family still resides in Delhi was here for the Election Day too. Sharing his picture after casting the vote Sidharth wrote, ‘Took a quick break and came to Delhi for this. I've done my bit, it's time you do yours! #VoteForIndia This is the most important work that you would do today. #DelhiVoteKar’


    Anushka Sharma’s husband and Captain of the Indian Cricket team was also seen at the polling booth in Delhi. Taapsee Pannu too cast her vote in the capital and shared a picture with her mother on Instagram, ‘Me and my maa for ‘Bharat Maa’ #HappyMothersDay #GoVote #FlauntIt’ she wrote.



    Bollywood celebrities have played an active part in encouraging their fans to exercise their rights and cast their vote in the Lok Sabha Election 2019. With several celebrities casting their vote at the beginning of the month in Mumbai, the Delhiites of Bollywood too stepped up in setting a good example by flying in especially to vote.
