Love Aaj Kal’s Arushi Sharma Talks About Claim To Fame Moment Opposite Ranbir Kapoor, Has These Things In Common With Kartik Aaryan

One of the most awaited films of the year, Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal is all set to hit theatres on 14^th February. Featuring Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead, the romantic drama also stars Arushi Sharma in an important role. The film will follow two love stories running simultaneously. However, while one story is set in 2020, the other will be a tale from the year 1990.

In a recent chat with Mumbai Mirror, Arushi opened up about Love Aaj Kal, her co-star and also her cameo in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha. She shared, “I am from Himachal Pradesh, which doesn't have an active theatre scene.” While the filmmaker was in her college, she auditioned for the film and got her first taste of showbiz. Arushi went on to add, “Engineering colleges are usually boring. I became popular after working with Ranbir Kapoor.”

Talking about romancing Kartik Aaryan and sharing her experience of working with the heartthrob, Arushi said, “Even he is an engineer, it was like meeting an old buddy. He is an actor who is always trying to improve his craft and a good co-star who elevated my performance, too. He can stay focused even in chaos, I can't.” The actress also revealed that she doesn’t have any scenes with Sara except for a song, and added, “She has a lot of energy, is involved in every aspect of filmmaking.”
