Luv Ranjan's Wild Wild Punjab to be revived with Sunny Singh, Varun Sharma, Patralekhaa and Ishita Raj Sharma? Read deets

Back in 2016, Luv Ranjan had announced his debut production film. Titled Wild Wild Punjab, the film was to have Shahid Kapoor in the lead and it was supposed to be an action-comedy. However, destiny had different plans. Shahid Kapoor's Udta Punjab came out and the actor wanted to give some space since the titles were close enough. Circumstances changed and the film was put to the backburner. However, now it would be revived.

If a report in Peepingmoon is to be believed, then Luv Ranjan would revive the film with a brand new cast. And well- it would have Punchnama actors as well as actors Luv hasn't worked with before. The report says that the director has roped in Sunny Singh and Varun Sharma as the male leads and Patralekhaa and Ishita Raj Sharma as the female leads.

Not just the actors, but the director has also been changed. Earlier Anshul Varma was to helm the film but now Simarpreet Singh will helm it. Simarpreet was behind the recently released web series, Chutzpah.
