We all know actress Kangana Ranaut is all geared up and is preparing hard for Thalaivi – the biopic on Jayalalitha. However, the film has now hit the doldrums! According to a report on Bollywood Hungama, Jayalalitha's niece has filed a plea seeking that the directors should get the consent of the family as the film portrays the private life of Jayalalithaa.

If media reports are to be believed, after hearing the plea, Madra High Court sent a legal notice to Gautam Menon who is also helming a web series on Jayalalitha with actress Ramya Krishnan in the lead.
