Malang: Had Kriti Sanon Walked Out Of The Film? Director Mohit Suri Reveals The Truth!

Ever since Malang had been announced, Bollywood buffs had been lookoing forward to see a new couple on-screen. The hotties, Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani looked like fireworks together and chemistry is to watch out for in Malang. But if recent reports are to be believed, then Disha’s role was originally offered to Kriti Sanon who apparently walked out of it! But how much truth does the report has? Director Mohit Suri opens up about the rumour.

Talking to Pinkvilla, the director said, “Kriti really wanted to do Malang, but she had to let go of it and choose other films instead.” He also clarified that she never ‘walked out’ of the film. He said that to work in the film, she would have had to ‘waste six months’. She let the project go and chose to work in other films instead. He further said, “As a director, my job was to reach out to an actor. I did that, but then she also received offers for Housefull 4 and Panipat.” 

Well, this was Disha Patani’s big gain! While Housefull 4 did well, Panipat failed to do a decent business at the box-office. Disha Patani will be seen in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and Ktina apart from Malang, while Kriti Sanon will be seen in Mimi and Bachchan Pandey.
