There are some songs which connect with you instantly and you end up falling in love with them the first time you hear them. Then there are those tracks which you may not enjoy at first, but eventually grow on you. Aayush Sharma and Saiee Manjrekar’s latest music video Manjha falls in the second category. The clip starts with a beautiful melody, which raises your hopes and expectations. The look on Aayush’s face is almost relatable to how we feel when we see a crush.

As the video progresses you realize that the actor has a lot of potential but has over used his expressions and enthusiasm in this project. Saiee, on the other hand, looks gorgeous as ever in ethnic attires but is too subtle in scenes which require more effort. They look great together as they pass notes via kites and we are loving Aayush’s new, grunge look. But the lyrics are slightly weak and the video feels incomplete. The soulful music will catch your attention but it suddenly takes a strange twist in the middle of the track.

In the end, we would like to conclude that the music video helmed by Anshul Garg and Vishal Mishra is definitely sweet. However, it won’t tug at your heartstrings right away. It will take some time to grow on you and eventually become something you end up playing on a loop, at least for a while. We wish the actors all the best!
