Me Too: Actress Payal Ghosh Claims Anurag Kashyap Tried To Force Himself On Her; Filmmaker Responds

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was on Saturday accused of sexually assaulting actress Payal Ghosh. The latter opened up on a news channel about now the filmmaker tried to force himself on her at his residence and told her that physical relationships are very normal.

The Patel Ki Punjabi Shadi actress in her Me Too claim asserts that the incident happened at the time he was filming Bombay Velvet with Ranbir Kapoor and told her “any girl is ready to sleep with me just to share a scene with Ranbir and girls are crazy about RK.”

Describing what happened Payal says that Anurag invited her into another room while they were at his home and tried to force himself on her and also took names of actresses like Huma Qureshi, Richa Chadha and Mahi Gil. She claims the filmmaker said that actress come running to suck his ***k .

The actress on visiting him the next day found him drinking alcohol and added that the place smelled bad as he was smoking something which she claims could have been charas of ganja. On not speaking up earlier she clarified that she was advised by everyone not to.

After Payal’s interview went viral, Kangana Ranaut who is often at odds with the filmmaker demanded his arrest.

Anurag Kashyap too responded to all the allegations in a series of tweets in hindi said, "Wow, it took long in the attempt to silence me. It's ok. In the attempt to silence me, you dragged several other women despite being a woman yourself. Have some limits Madam. Will just want to say that whatever the accusations are, they are all unsubstantiated. "

Talking about Payal’s reference to the other actresses the filmmaker wrote, "In the process of accusing me you tried to drag my artists and the Bachchan family but failed. Madam I have been married twice, if that's my crime then I accept it, and have loved a lot, I accept that too. Whether it was my first wife or the second, or any other lover, or the many actresses I have worked with,or that team of girls and women who has always been working with me, or the many women who I met in private or in public.”

Anurag rested his case suggesting Payal’s video was a sham and said, "I do not engage in such behavior or tolerate it. Whatever happens we shall see.
