Mimi: Kriti Sanon reveals she cried, screamed or fought with someone every day during second schedule

The gorgeous Kriti Sanon is a phenomenal actress and she finally got a chance to prove the same with her film Mimi. It was the very first project where she played the titular character and the entire responsibility came on her shoulders. But instead of cracking under pressure like many others would, she beautifully immersed into the character and gave us the most spectacular performance of her career till date. But it was not an easy journey. Even though the Laxman Utekar directorial is a comedy, there were some scenes which required Kriti to portray very heavy emotions. This left a deep impact on her.

In a chat with ETimes, Kriti shared, “This, I think, was one of the most challenging and emotionally heavy films I have done, even though most part of the film is actually comedy. I remember the first schedule of Mimi was very light (before she became a surrogate mother), as her life is very colourful and spunky. I used to call that a happy schedule. The second schedule was where she gets pregnant, and her life turns around. She matures as a woman and her dreams are shattered.”

The actress remembered, “Those bits were very emotional and heavy because I was almost doing an intense or sad scene every single day. And you end up drawing from what you’re feeling inside. So, during that entire schedule, I think I was crying, or I was sort of screaming at someone or fighting with someone every single day.”

Up next, the actress has an exciting line up of films which includes action comedy Bachchan Pandey, Om Raut’s Adipurush, Shehzada opposite Kartik Aaryan, monster comedy Bhediya and Ganapath, which will reunite Kriti with Tiger Shroff.
