Mogul: Aamir Khan To Begin Shoot For The Film In 2022, Reveals Producer Bhushan Kumar

Mogul had been announced years back. It was Akshay Kumar then who was in the poster for the Gushan Kumar biopic. After he opted out, Aamir Khan was roped in to play Gulshan Kumar. But, there has been no word about it since then. Bhushan Kumar had said some months back that Aamir will be starting the project after he is sone with Laal Singh Chaddha. Now, he has shared some more updates.

Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Bhushan Kumar revealed that Mogul will go on floors next year, i.e., in 2022. He said, “Tentatively we will start the film in 2022. I cannot give you an exact date right now, but in 2022 the film should go on floors. It should be a 2023 release or end of 2022.”

Well, now we have a timeline for the film and we can say we are excitedly looking forward to it. Bhushan Kumar has also been involved in writing the script for the film and he called it 'a very good experience'. He said, “Writing of the film was completed quite some time back because we were going to start the film by this time. But because of the lockdown, the film was delayed by a year. I have to be involved in the writing because writing is the crux of it. I enjoy the process but because of the time constraints, I am not being able to be involved in all the things. But obviously, in big and important films I totally get involved in script sessions also.”
