Nag Ashwin’s Next Starring Prabhas And Deepika Padukone Has Been Pushed To October? Here’s What We Know

Ever since it was announced that South superstar Prabhas is collaborating with Bollywood’s reigning queen Deepika Padukone for ace filmmaker Nag Ashwin’s next, fans have eagerly been waiting for the shoot to begin so they can get their hands on behind the scene snaps. Well, the ambitious sci-fi thriller was expected to roll on floors sometime in the month of July this year and Deepika had reportedly allotted 75 days to the project. However, there is a change in plans now.

In a report shared by Pinkvilla, a source was quoted saying, “The current COVID wave has taken a toll on the schedule of both Prabhas and Deepika, with their prior commitments getting delayed. Even Nag Ashwin is taking longer than expected to complete the prep work, and he doesn’t want to pace up the things just to take the film on floors. Hence, the team has now mutually decided to postpone it to the month of October.”

In the meantime, Prabhas will be busy with his other exciting projects like Salaar and Om Raut’s Adipurush. But Deepika will reportedly have a vacant window from July to October. This is because her upcoming films such as Draupadi, Fighter opposite Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan and The Intern remake with shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan, will take off post October. The source revealed that attempts are being made to zero in on a film for this very slot. Let’s wait and watch what happens!
