NCB Drug Probe: Seized Gadgets Of Deepika Padukone, Rhea Chakraborty, Sara Ali Khan & Others Sent For Data Extraction

It’s been a busy year for the Narcotics Control Bureau, which has vouched to bust the drug racket in Bollywood after being roped in to investigate the drug links in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. With many threads unraveling from the case, the NCB has now sent 85 gadgets they seized for extracting data to The Directorate of Forensic Sciences (DFS), Gandhi Nagar.

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the gadgets include cell phones, laptops, tablets, and a pen drive of Bollywood celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Sara Ali Khan, Rhea Chakraborty her brother Showik Chakraborty among others. The report further claims that data from 30 cell phones has been extracted and sent back to the NCB to trace drug links.

The data extracted included deleted video and audio clips along with numbers they were sent to and received from. The NCB has further requested the DFS to trace forwarded messages to establish links of a drug nexus.

Further, the NCB has also sent 25 drug samples they recovered during their several raids in the city to the Gujarat Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to establish who the drugs were sold to.

The NCB has questioned many prominent names from the entertainment world since August and also conducted several raids after they were looped into the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
