Rhea Chakraborty is being questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with the drug case that has now emerged out of the investigation in the Sushnat Singh Rajput death case. The Bureau already has Showik Chakrborty in their custody along with Sushant’s staff members Dipesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda and Rhea is being questioned after her brother reportedly confessed he procured drugs on the instance of the actress.

Now, Mutha Ashok Jain, the NCB Deputy DG, South-Western Region has referred to Showik and Rhea as ‘small fish’ in their probe as they work on bringing down the entire network and are trying to get to the ‘big fish’ now.

The NCB has custody of Showik and Samuel till September 9 post and till then the bureau will investigate about the bigger people in the drug network by questioning them and the other drug peddlers they had nabbed.

Ashok Jain in a statement to the press on Saturday evening said, “There is a search for big fish in the drugs racket. NCB will investigate all international and interstate connections. We are still investigating. The court has given time till September 9. This is an open investigation. This is a network-based crime and we are trying to investigate that angle.”

He, however, refused to comment on Rhea’s arrest but said, “Whoever is guilty, will not be spared. We will find out who the real culprit is. In the drugs case, the investigation will be done on the basis of the evidence.”
