Not Deepika Or Katrina, Shraddha Kapoor Might Star Opposite Ranbir Kapoor In Luv Ranjan's Next

If we quickly forget Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Shraddha Kapoor has managed to give three massive hits with Stree, Saaho, and Chhichhore and is now one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood. The next one to be charmed by Shraddha is none other than Luv Ranjan who has reportedly approached Shradhha for his new upcoming venture.

The film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn, was initially supposed to have Deepika Padukone as the leading lady. However, the actress backed out after the backlash from her fans who were not too happy about Deepika working with Luv Ranjan who has sexual harassment charges against him.

After Deepika’s exit from the project, Katrina was also approached for the role, but even she was not very sure. Ultimately, the project has now landed up in Shraddha Kapoor’s lap, however, it is not confirmed if she has given her nod to the project. If she indeed gets on board, this will be her first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor on-screen.

Talking about replacements, Shraddha earlier replaced Katrina Kaif for Street Dancer with Varun Dhawan and Nora Fatehi. She is currently working with Tiger Shroff for Baagi 3 that is being directed by choreographer turned director Ahmed Khan and is allegedly a remake of Tamil film Vettai.
