Not Ayushmann Khurrana But Vivek Oberoi Was The First Choice For Vicky Donor

The stay on the release of Vivek Oberoi’s film PM Narendra Modi by the Election Commission is certainly the biggest setback for the actor. Regardless, the actor is busy promoting the film and has talked about films he regrets rejecting or passing on. In his interaction with the media, Vivek revealed that he regrets not being a part of Shoojit Sircar’s Vicky Donor.

The 2012 film that changed Ayushmann Khurrana’s career trajectory forever was initially offered to Vivek Oberoi who had also agreed to sign the film. It was later that the makers changed their mind and took the offer to Sharman Joshi before finally getting Ayushmann on board.

About not doing Vicky Donor, Vivek said, "So, a film that I missed out on doing was Vicky Donor. It is an exceptional film, but now when I look at the film, I feel that I couldn't have done what Ayushmann did in it."

On the work front. Vivek has to wait till the Lok Sabha elections are over to release his film Pm Narendra Modi. Earlier this year the actor also made his South debut with Mohanlal starrer Lucifer.
