    Parineeti Chopra Reveals She Approached The Makers Of The Girl On The Train To Star In The Film As She Was Seeking Change

    Parineeti Chopra has added another feather in her hat with her spot on performance as an amnesia patient in the psychological thriller “The Girl On The Train’ which released on Friday on Netflix.  The actress who was mostly coming to be associated with romance and comedy in her career before this film says she wanted to break the mould and this Ribhu Dasgupta film was the perfect opportunity.

    Talking to Outlook Parineeti reveals she approached the makers to be cast in the film instead of the deal going the other way round. Talking about starring in the adaptation Paula Hawkins’s novel by the same name, Parineeti said, “I was looking for a script like this. I was doing a certain kind of characters and I was looking for a change and a movie like this. I approached the makers and said if you think I am right for the film, I would love to read it. I didn’t have to convince them actually because they said that they were looking for me for the longest time to cast me. It happened at the same time and we came into each other life at the same time. I signed the film immediately.”


    Talking about doing similar kind of roles and movies Parineeti added, “I was looking for something new while I was working on other projects. I wanted makers to give me something that I have not done before. Most of the films I was doing were somewhere in the same genre and I wanted that change of image. ‘The Girl On The Train’ was perfect and it came at the right time in my life.”

    After this thriller Parineeti is once again ready to surprise fans with a stops drama in March. The actress will be seen playing Indian Badminton player Saina Nehwal in her biopic.
