Pathan: Ashutosh Rana to reprise his War role in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer?

Remember Ashutosh Rana in War. Yes, he played the character of RAW joint secretary Colonel Sunil Luthra in the Hrithik Roshan- Tiger Shroff starrer. Now, if reports are to be believed, then his role will be reprised once again in Pathan.

According to a report in Mid Day, Ashutosh will be back again as Colonel Sunil Luthra in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer as well. A source quoted by the daily said, “Ashutosh played RAW joint secretary Colonel Sunil Luthra in Hrithik Roshan’s War [2019]. It was Adi and Siddharth’s idea to have the actor reprise his role in Pathan. The actor shot some important sequences with Shah Rukh and Dimple at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri, a few days ago. It is heard that Dimple and Ashutosh’s characters will mastermind the mission that will see the protagonist lock horns with John, who plays the baddie.”

Needless to say, this will make the crossover and Aditya Chopra's spy franchise look seamless. Reports had been doing the rounds that Hrithik will also make an appearance in Pathan, but this has not been confirmed. However, what has been confirmed is Salman Khan's cameo in Pathan as Tiger, which also seems to have been shot! Salman Khan is currently shooting for Tiger 3 and we are not just eagerly waiting for these two films, but also for the grand crossover announcement.
