Pathan: Gautam Rode And Shaji Choudhary To Join As RAW Agents; Read Details...

Pathan has been all over the news for the past few weeks, and why shouldn't it be? It marks the end to Shah Rukh Khan's long hiatus after Zero and he would return as a spy in the YRF film. He would also reunite with Deepika Padukone for the fourth time and will be locking horns with John Abraham. Now, we are getting to hear that more celebs have joined the cast.

TV actor Gautam Rode and Mirzapur fame Shaji Choudhary would be a part of Pathan and they would play RAW agents. According to a source quoted by Bollywood Hungama, “Aditya Chopra and Yash Raj Films are pulling out all stops to ensure that Pathan will be Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest film ever. Now to live up to this, they are developing an entire spy universe that will see Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shaji Chaodhary and Gautam Rode playing RAW agents being led by Dimple Kapadia.”

The same source also revealed why these actors were cast and said, "Shaji’s character in Mirzapur as Maqbool has made an impact on the audience, and he also has the aura to pull off a RAW agent charisma. As for Gautam Rode, well he has been one of TV’s best looking and physically well-built individuals, not to mention that he has the skill as well. So it was not a very difficult decision to rope them in.” 

With all these news doing the rounds, we can barely keep our excitement under control. The team will soon head to Abu Dhabi for a high octane sequence. Pathan is scheduled for Diwali 2021 release.
