Actress Payal Ghosh, who had appeared in a few South films and a Bollywood film, had made a grave allegation against director Anurag Kashyap. She tweeted that he had forced her and even tagged the prime minister. While the director has denied the charges, Payal is yet to register a complaint or file an F.I.R. Now, an old tweet of the actress is doing the rounds.

The Me Too movement gained momentum in India after Tanushree Dutta opened up about her ordeal. At that point in time Payal had tweeted about how nobody rapes in Bollywood. She wrote, “Nobody rape here, they try to take chance if you are not comfortable, walk away as simple, no need to make so much drama.” See the tweet here:

She had also a day back that she had tried to speak about what Anurag did to her, but always deleted the tweet. Now, she has written how nobody is coming to her support. She wrote, "People blame women for everything and post smash the patriarchy. It's time to stand with the women. Let them be heard. A voice suppressed is a generation of women oppressed. It's 2020. Come on, India! ". Here's the tweet:

We hope the truth is out soon.
