Preity Zinta Celebrates 22 Years In Bollywood; Remembers Being An ‘Immature Wide Eyed Kid’ When She Started Out

22 years ago, the gorgeous Preity Zinta shined on the silver screen for the first time in Mani Ratnam’s romantic thriller Dil Se.. alongside Shahrukh Khan and Manisha Koirala. Not only did she leave the audience in awe with her performance, but also became the nation’s crush thanks to her mesmerizing smile and dimple. Preity went on to win hearts with films such as Soldier, Kya Kehna, Sangharsh, Salaam Namaste and Dil Chahta Hai among many others, and carved a niche for herself in the industry.

Celebrating 22 years in the Hindi film industry, the actress took to her social media handle to share a special video featuring some of the major highlights of her journey. Along with this clip, Preity penned a heartfelt caption that read: “When I started my career I was an immature wide eyed kid who didn’t know where I was going or what I would be. I just knew that I had to work hard, never give up & seize every moment. Today when I look back I’m grateful for all the people & all the experiences - good & bad that shaped my future & made my journey so incredible & memorable.”
