Prithviraj: Akshay Kumar’s Co-Star Manushi Chhillar Reveals She Had Always Been Fascinated With Prithviraj-Sanyogita’s Story

Voted as the Most Desirable Woman of India, Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar is all set to make her debut as an actress opposite the Khiladi of Bollywood Akshay Kumar with Prithviraj. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Aditya Chopra under the YRF banner, the historical action drama is slated to hit theatres on 13^th November this year.

In a recent chat with Spotboye, Manushi revealed, “While growing up, I was really interested in history, the tales of grand kingdoms and larger than life historical heroes. I had always been fascinated with the story of Prithviraj and Sanyogita and life came to a full circle for me when I was offered this film by YRF.”

The beauty went on to share, “When I was given the narration of the film, I had a smile on my face thinking that I’m listening to a story that I had been most interested in reading in school. Prithviraj and Sanyogita is a fascinating story and a beautiful chapter in the history of India and I’m blessed and fortunate to have got the opportunity to bring Princess Sanyogita’s story to life.”

Prithviraj marks Akshay’s first historical film and fans are extremely excited to see the action superstar in such a different character. The film follows the life of Chahamana king Prithviraj Chauhan and his queen Sanyogita.
