Priyanka Chopra Will Not Replace Alia Bhatt In SS Rajamouli’s RRR; Here’s Why Fake Reports Went Viral

Well amid the ruckus, rumors started doing the rounds about how Priyanka Chopra has replaced Alia in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR.

Well according to the latest report in Pinkvilla, these are just baseless rumors. A source from Alia’s team has clarified, “Alia is still very much a part of RRR. She is in fact prepping for the role, since she has to learn and understand Telugu. While the Covid outbreak put a temporary pause on the film's shoot, the team is currently chalking out a different schedule to start rolling with Alia.”

Another source revealed that the rumor was a carefully planted report to damage Alia’s reputation even further after the outrage against Sadak 2 trailer. However, filmmaker Rajamouli has signed Alia because of her talent and not because of her lineage. Hence, he will stick to his decision and go ahead with Alia as his lead heroine. Also starring South superstars Ram Charan and N. T. Rama Rao Jr., RRR is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of the industry.
