Radhe Actor Gautam Gulati Talks About His ‘Hardcore Psycho’ Character; Reveals Salman Khan Decided His Look

Heartthrob and Bigg Boss 8 winner Gautam Gulati, who has featured in films like Behen Hogi Teri, Virgin Bhanupriya and Azhar, is all set to share the screen with Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Also featuring Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff, the action entertainer will be releasing in theatres as well as on the digital platform on 13^th May. Gautam had a great time working with Salman and also underwent special training for fight scenes for the film.

In a chat with Pinkvilla, the actor opened up about his character in the Prabhu Deva directorial and revealed that Salman decided his deadly look. Gautam was quoted saying, “He is the one who has given me that look in Radhe, Salman Sir has decided it for me. My character is of a hardcore psycho. So we tried some looks, but then he (Salman Khan) came up with this idea - he said, ‘Gautam nikal de’ (Gautam shave off your head). I did not even think twice, one being an actor should be ready for things. It was also something new to try.” While Salman is playing the role of an undercover cop, Gautam will be seen as one of the antagonists.

Gautam received sketches of the character and explored it by thinking from the character’s point of view. He explained that he went under the skin of the role. Gautam went on to add, “Throughout I was in the character because of the look. If Salman sir wasn’t there, this wouldn’t have been possible. So I thank him many times. He also appreciates, and says that I have done a good job. I feel really happy about that.”
