Rajkummar Rao And Nushrat Bharucha’s Turram Khan Gets A Release Date

It might have been Rajkummar Rao birthday yesterday, but looks like we are the ones getting the gift. The release date of Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Turram Khan, which is being directed by Hansal Mehta, has finally got a release date. The film would be hitting the theatres on January 31^st, 2020. Hansal Mehta took to Twitter to release the news.

This would be Rajkummar Rao’s fifth collaboration with Hansal Mehta after Shahid, Citylights, Aligarh and Omerta. In fact, Rao won his National Award for his performance in Shahid and all the other films of the duo have also received raving critical appreciation for all of their films together and thus the expectations are high from this one as well. Further heightening the interest in the film is Nushrat Bharucha who would be working with Mehta for the first time. Interestingly, Rajkummar Rao made his acting debut with Dibakar Banerjee’s Love Sex Aur Dhoka of which Nushrat was also part.

The film, reports say, is going to be a social comedy with rural Uttar Pradesh as the backdrop. The film is being produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg.
