    Rakul Preet Singh Says Her First Film Audition Was For Ishaqzaade, Reveals She Never Cries During Movies

    Actress Rakul Preet Singh who was recently in the headlines after being summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau for questioning has revealed that the first ever audition she gave for a film was for the YRF film Ishaqzaade.

    The movie marked the debut of Arjun Kapoor in the Bollywood back in 2011. While speaking about all her firsts, Rakul in a chat with Bollywood Hungama spoke about her first few auditions and revealed that when she was about 19 she gave auditions for a lot of ads and her first one for a movie was that for Isqhazaade.

    Well, the lead role of Zoya Qureshi eventually fell in Parineeti Chopra’s lap who had already debuted with Ladies Vs. Ricky Behl and was widely appreciated for it. Rakul who had already made her debut in the South later went on to make her Bollywood debut with Divya Khosla Kumar’s Yaariyan in 2013.

    She did several Tamil and Telugu films post that and only returned to Hindi films with Aiyaary opposite Sidharth Malhotra in 2018 and also starred in De De Pyaar De in 2019 opposite Ajay Devgn which is her biggest hit in Bollywood to date.

    The actress also revealed that the first celebrity she was really excited to meet was Ranveer Singh and that she has never cried in a movie.
