    Ram Setu: 45 Out Of 100 Incoming Junior Artistes Test Positive For COVID-19 Ahead Of Shoot

    After a mahurat shot in Ayodhya, Akshay Kumar, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez kick started the shoot of their upcoming film Ram Setu. However, the filming came to an abrupt halt when Bollywood’s Khiladi announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19. A while ago he also shared that he has been hospitalized under medical advice and hopes to be back home soon. Meanwhile, 45 out of the 100 crew members who were supposed to report at Ram Setu sets today have been diagnosed coronavirus positive after undergoing the mandatory test ahead of shoot.

    In a report shared by ETimes, Federatioon of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) confirmed the news and revealed that those 45 people from the Junior Artistes Association have tested positive and have been quarantined. A source was quoted saying, “Every precautionary test is done a couple of days in advance. Those who don't clear the test are isolated and even paid by the 'Ram Setu' producers. This unit is so careful that even if a person is feeling low on a particular day, he/she is immediately isolated in the provisions that have been done in the vicinity of where the shoot is being conducted. You will find maximum number of PPE kits on the sets of 'Ram Setu'. Lakhs of rupees have been sent on tests and isolations since Day 1.”

    Akshay himself has undergone the test multiple times and made sure that every protocol was being followed during shoot. Well, we hope all those who has diagnosed positive feel better and recover soon.
