The countdown to Babhubali star Rana Daggubati has already begun. The actor will be tying the knot with girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj on August 8 and the wedding festivities of the couple have already begun. The families of the couple are ensuring the no social distancing norms are flouted during the ceremony and will also be creating a bio-secure bubble at the venue to eliminate the COVID-19 threat.

Rana’s father Suresh Babu in an interview with Bombay Times divulged the details of the arrangements being made and stated how the health of everyone attending is at the center of all wedding preparations, “There will not be more than 30 people present at the wedding. We want to limit the guest list to just family and we haven’t invited even some of our closest friends, within and outside the film industry. The reality is that COVID-19 cases continue to rise and we don’t want our celebrations to risk anybody’s health, so I want to set the right example. The ceremony will be small but beautiful.”

The wedding will take place at Hyderabad’s Ramanaidu Studios and Miheeka’s mom Bunty Bajaj says that a bio-secure bubble will be created at the venue and all social distancing norms will be followed.

Suresh Babu also added that all guests will have to undego COVID-19 tests, “Everybody who will attend the wedding will get tested for Covid-19. We will also keep sanitisers across the venue and maintain social distance. It’s a happy occasion and we want to make it a safe one too.”

Miheeka and Rana got engaged during the lockdown on May 21 after dating for two years with just family in attendance and shared the pictures on social media confirming the big news.
