Ranbir-Alia And Ranveer-Deepika’s Ranthambore Holiday Was A Coincidence; Latter Were On Their Own

After spending Christmas together, love birds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor jetted off to Ranthambore to ring in the New Year with their families at a beautiful resort. While Alia was snapped at the airport with beau Ranbir, his mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima and her family, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen reportedly joined them later in Ranthambore. But what left fans surprised was that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, who dated Ranbir many years ago, joined the Kapoors and Bhatts in Ranthambore for the vacation.

Well the stars have now returned home and it has been revealed that meeting in Ranthambore was a complete coincidence, not a planned holiday! In a report shared by Bollywood Hungama, a source was quoted saying, “Ranbir, Alia and their families had planned their holiday in Ranthambore for New Years months in advance. Alia ran into Deepika in the last week of December and they began chatting on holiday plans for the New Year. That’s when they got to know that both of them were heading to the same destination for New Year’s.”

That’s not all! A common friend of the actresses revealed that the couples did not spend much time together. In fact, Ranveer and Deepika were on their own. The common friend stated, “Pictures on the social media are giving the wrong impression of the couple clasped to the Kapoors for the vacation. That’s not the way it is. Deepika can never be comfortable around Ranbir’s mother. She was never made to feel welcome when she was seeing Ranbir.”
