Ranbir Kapoor Is Under Quarantine After Testing Positive For COVID-19? Uncle Randhir Reveals He Is ‘Unwell’

While our country has been desperately trying to get back to normal in the past couple of months, it is now being said that another big wave of coronavirus is taking over. By normal we obviously mean the ‘new normal’ where extra precautions are being taken on film sets and even with 100% occupancy, theatres aren’t seeing a rush. Many Bollywood actors have also been hit by COVID-19 and are trying their best to maintain social distance. Well, according to latest buzz, Ranbir Kapoor has now tested positive for coronavirus.

According to a report shared by Pinkvilla, the heartthrob of Bollywood was put in quarantine after he tested positive for the virus and is currently resting. While Ranbir, his manager and mother Neetu Kapoor were unavailable to comment, his uncle Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news by saying ‘yes’ when he got a call from the entertainment portal. However, he quickly added, “I believe he is not well, but I am not sure what he has got. I am not in town.” Maybe we’ll just have to wait for official confirmation from the actor.

Meanwhile on the work front, Ranbir has wrapped up the filming of Ayan Mukerji’s action fantasy film Brahmāstra co-starring girlfriend Alia Bhatt and megastar Amitabh Bachchan. His other exciting projects include Shamshera with Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, multi-starrer Animal and Luv Ranjan’s next. As we wait for confirmation about his COVID-19 test, we hope the actor rests it out so we can see him back in action soon again.
