Ranveer Singh & Alia Bhatt's Romantic Comedy Helmed By Karan Johar Gets A Title, Film Ready To Go On Floors

Karan Johar is gearing up to bring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh together on screen once again after Gully Boy. This time the two actors will reportedly be seen in a romantic drama which will be helmed by Karan himself. The latest on the project is that it has been given a title by the filmmaker and preparations to get the project on floors have already begun.

According to sources of Bollywood Hungama, the movie was supposed to go on floors in May. The script and dialogues for the project have apparently already been locked and now Karan’s team is prepping to get the crew vaccinated before work while the sets are also being designed.

The Alia Ranveer film will be in the romantic comedy genre and reportedly has also been given a title already and is being called Prem Kahani. It will feature Ranveer and Alia as opposite characters in a romantic story in Karan Johar’s quintessential style.

Karan was previously working on making Takht which has now been put on the back burner and also featured Ranveer and Alia along with Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor. With the project going on the back bunner due to the pandemic, Karan then apparently approached the Gully Boy co-stars for a romantic comedy.
