    Former badminton champion Prakash Padukone made history when he became the first Indian to win the All England Open Badminton Championships in London's Wembley Arena in 1980. It was a proud moment for our nation and we still look back at the iconic victory with our heart full of emotions. 40 years later on 23rd March, his daughter Deepika Padukone took to her social media handle to thank him for his inspiring display of dedication, discipline, determination and years of hard work.


    Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh also penned a sweet post for his father-in-law, calling him a legend.
