Ranveer Singh And Rohit Shetty To Reunite Outside The Cop Universe For A Mega Comedy Drama, Golmaal 5 Pushed Back

If you think that Bollywood celebrities used the lockdown to put their feet up and relax then you need to hear the epic thing filmmaker Rohit Shetty has accomplished during this period. The filmmaker according to the latest reports has been working on a comedy film outside of his cop and Golmaal universes and the lockdown finally gave him time to draft out his idea for this big comedy-drama.

What’s more, is that the director has already reached out to Ranveer Singh and the duo is likely to reunite after their blockbuster Simmba. According to a Bollywood Hungama report Ranveer Singh is all pumped up about Rohit’s new comedy, a source tells the portal, “Rohit has been looking to step outside the Golmaal franchise and his cop universe, and the lockdown gave him the time to work on an out and out comic script. When he narrated the basic idea to Ranveer, the actor was equally excited as he hasn’t done a comedy film Rohit Shetty e-style before and agreed to come on board.” 

The report also claims that Rohit was to begin work on Golmaal 5 after Sooryavanshi was done but since Ajay Devgn has no dates to spare in the near future the film will have to wait another year. The filmmaker has now decided to proceed with his comedy with Ranveer instead and is busy locking the final draft of the script.
