Ranveer Singh To Team Up With Gully Boy Director Zoya Akhtar For A Gangster Drama?

From making the audiences go spellbound to becoming India’s official entry to Oscars, Gully Boy has easily been one of the most celebrated and acclaimed filmsthis year. Well, now it seems Ranveer and Zoya are all set to re-create the magic as reports suggest that Gully Boy will be working together soon. A source close to Zoya revealed, “Zoya has always been criticized for making elitist movies. She proved everyone wrong when she made Gully Boy. Now, she's writing another script in a similar space and milieu. But it's a gangster drama that she has been planning for some time now.”

The source further added, “Zoya has offered the gangster flick to her favorite Ranveer Singh already. He has heard the concept and is really keen on doing it as well. He has verbally given his nod and this will be his third film with Zoya after Dil Dhadakne Do and Gully Boy.”

Ranveer already has films such as 83, Takht and Jayeshbhai Jordaar on his hands and there were also rumors of Sanjay Leela Bhansali trying to rope Ranveer in for Inshallah after Salman Khan’s exit. Thus, reports suggest that Zoya and Ranveer are now trying to work around the dates to begin shooting for their next venture together.
