    Filmmakers had eagerly been waiting for cinema halls in Maharashtra to reopen so that they could finally decide when to release their much awaited projects. Much to their delight, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray 's office yesterday announced that Maharashtra theatres will be allowed to function from 22nd October . As a result, a floodgate of release dates has now opened up! One of the latest announcements was shared by Ranveer Singh . The actor took to his official social media handle a while ago to share that his sports drama ‘ 83 will arrive on the big screen on Christmas this year.

    That’s not all! Shahid Kapoor announced that his much awaited film Jersey will release in cinema halls on 31st December this year. Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani ’s horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 , on the other hand, will reportedly hit theatres next year on 25th March. The list does not end here. According to Taran Adarsh’s latest tweets, three films backed by Sajid Nadiadwala are also all set to arrive on the silver screen. While Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria ’s Tadap will release on 3rd December this year, Bachchan Pandey and Heropanti 2 have booked 2022. Ajay Devgn ’s Mayday will also premiere next year on 29th April.







    Earlier today it was reported that Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s comedy drama Laal Singh Chaddha will release next year on Valentine’s Day. Yash Raj Films ’ Prithviraj , Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Shamshera will also premiere in 2022.
