Ranveer Singh’s Reply To Deepika Padukone Saying She Would Have Been Happy Marrying A South Indian Guy Is Sooo Him

There is never a dull moment when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are around. Recently, the duo showed up for to the actor’s roundtable hosted by critic Anupama Chopra with other celebs such as Alia Bhatt, Manoj Bajpayee, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vijay Deverakonda, Vijay Sethupathi, and Parvathy. While both of them spoke about the industry, craft of acting and so much more them being them, they could not leave the show without at least one DeepVeer moment.

Talking about Ranveer’s performance in his debut film Band Bajaa Baraat, Deepika said that she thought Ranveer was actually from Delhi and was very shocked to know that he is a Bandra boy when she met him for the first time. To this Ranveer quickly chimed in saying ‘That’s what got her hooked.’

Not the one to let an opportunity to tease Ranveer pass by, Deepika responded saying that she would have been happy marrying a South Indian boy. Not bogged down by Deepika’s revelation, Ranveer gave the most Ranveer like response and saying, “Wait for 2 more days, I am going to Tirupati in a dhoti.” Of course, he was referring to the trip to Tirupati he made with Deepika on their first wedding anniversary. However, Ranveer clearly did not live up to his promise as he was seen in kurta-pajama in his pictures from the temple which went viral on the internet. Why you disappoint Baba?
