Raveena Tandon Says She Never Slept Around With Heroes For Roles, Was Considered Arrogant For Living On Her Own Terms

Raveena Tandon was considered one of the most successful stars of the 90s who had carved a niche for herself. She gave back to back commercial hits and was a busy actress. Now, in a recent interview, she has opened up about how she was never a part of any camp, since she would never sleep with actors. In fact, she was even considered arrogant for choosing to live life on her own terms.

Talking to Pinkvilla, she revealed, "I didn't have godfathers, wasn't part of camps, and didn't have heroes promoting me. I was not sleeping around with heroes for roles or having affairs. In a lot of cases, I was considered arrogant because I wasn't pandering to what the heroes wanted me to do - laughing when they wanted me to laugh, sitting when they asked me to sit. I was doing my own thing. Surprisingly, female journalists would always try to bring me down. I just wanted to live on my own terms."

She also talked about the dirty politics in the industry and said, "I may not have lost movies because of honesty but a lot of dirt was written about me. I never clawed on people's back, played cut-throat politics, and never stepped on people's toes either."
