Raveena Tandon Shares Details Of Her Character In KGF 2; Reveals Ahmed Khan Offered Her A Film

One of the most gorgeous and adored actresses of the Hindi film industry, Raveena Tandon will soon shine on the big screen in Prashanth Neel’s much-awaited K.G.F: Chapter 2. A sequel to the 2018 super hit film K.G.F: Chapter 1, the period action film will see Kannada superstar Yash reprise his role whereas Sanjay Dutt will play the character of the antagonist. K.G.F: Chapter 2 is scheduled to hit theatres on 23^rd October and will be dubbed in 4 other languages, that is, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.

While Raveena is done with the shooting of her next film, she will be beginning the dubbing sessions post the lockdown. In a chat with Mumbai Mirror, the beauty opened up about her character of Ramika Sen, India's Prime Minister in 1981. She revealed, “I am playing a politician, a strong character. She is the hero as well as the villain of the film, with a very interesting story arc.” That’s not all! Other than acting, Raveena is also exploring writing and has already completed 4 shows. She stated that she will also be producing them.

Much to our delight, K.G.F: Chapter 2 is not the only film in Raveena’s kitty! While she was judging the 9^th season of dance reality show Nach Baliye, her co-judge and filmmaker Ahmed Khan offered her his next film. Talking about the same, Raveena shared, “Ahmed discussed his next directorial, a comedy, with me during the show. He is an old friend and we share a comfort zone, so I didn’t ask many questions before saying ‘yes’. It was to go on the floors in June-July, but now, there is no clarity.”
