Rejctx 2: Esha Gupta Was Asked To Consider The Kids As Products Of Nepotism For Her Role, Reveals Goldie Behl

The lockdown has limited our sources of entertainment. With no new films or serials being aired on TV or with no theatres open, we are entirely dependent on OTT platforms for new content. Various platforms are coming up with interesting series and films and some are bringing new seasons of their loved shows. One such show in Rejctx 2, which will also mark Esha Gupta’s debut in the web. She will be essaying the character of Rene, who is investigating the death of Anushka Rao, played by Kubbra Sait.

When asked about what was Esha’s preparation to play the role, she revealed  that she had to learn kickboxing. But apart from that, Goldie Behl had helped her thoroughly to prepare for the role and his brief helped her play Rene effortlessly. Interestingly, Goldie revealed that he had only one brief for Esha. He said, “I asked Esha to just consider the kids as products of nepotism”. Yes, he has asked her recall all the times that some star kid landed the role that she was hoping to get or supposed to get. Whoa! That’ some hard-hitting brief to be given isn’t it?

Esha also revealed that she wasn’t the one to have chosen the series, but the series chose her. We are excited to see it! Rejctx will premiere on 14^th May on Zee5. Are you excited for the second season of this series too?
