Rhea Chakraborty Claims Mukesh Chhabra Did Drugs, He Decides To Take Legal Action Says She's Trying To Deflect Attention

Trouble is brewing for Bollywood as the Narcotics Control Bureau gets busy cracking the alleged drug nexus in the industry. Reports do the rounds that Rhea Chakraborty confessed during interrogation that big names like Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, Mukesh Chhabra, designer Simone Khambatta and Sushant’s friend and former manager Rohini Iyer did drugs.

The Dil Bechara filmmaker is contemplating taking legal action against Rhea now stating in an interview with Bollywood Hungama that he is a teetotaler and has never consumed drugs in his life. He also claimed that the actress who is currently lodged in prison is taking revenge on him.

He said, “She’s taking revenge on me for not speaking up in my defence. I have kept quiet. I decided that is the best way to let the current furore die down. But now by naming me (for consuming drugs) Rhea has seriously compromised my name. I need to clear my reputation.”

The filmmaker further told the portal, “I’d sincerely advise Rhea to not throw around names to deflect attention from herself. It won’t help her. I can’t speak for others. But my name has been dragged into this purely with malicious intent.”

The NCB in the meanwhile is reported to be contemplating sending summons to 25 Bollywood celebrities for questioning in the drug case.
