Rhea Chakraborty Claims Sushant Singh Rajput 'Used Her, Showik And Staff To Facilitate His Own Drug Habit' In Her Bail Plea

Rhea Chakraborty had filed a bail plea to the Bombay High Court after the sessions court rejected it and directed her to stay in Byculla jail till October 6th now. The plea was to be heard today, but due to heavy rains in Mumbai, the court declared a holiday and the plea would now be heard tomorrow. The contents of the petition are now doing the rounds.

In the petition, she has once again emphasized that 'Sushant Singh Rajput was the only consumer of drugs and that he was directing his staff members to procure his drugs'. She also added, "If the late actor were alive today, he would have been charged for the consumption of small quantities, which is a bailable offense having punishment of a term of imprisonment upto one year," while she might be spending 20 years in jail for paying for it on a few occasions.

The plea also stated that Sushant 'used her, her brother Showik and members of his household staff to facilitate his own drug habit while ensuring that he did not leave a paper trail of his own in the form of any electronic evidence whatsoever'. She also said, "It is unfortunate that Sushant Singh Rajput took advantage of those closest to him to sustain his drug habit and thought it fit to expose them to the perils that would entail."

The decision on her bail petition would be taken by the Bombay High Court tomorrow.
