Rhea Chakraborty’s Lawyer Dismisses Reports Suggesting Actress Met Sushant On 13th June; Calls It A ‘Baseless Rumour’

In an earlier interview, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty had revealed that she was not in contact with him from 8^th June to the day he breathed his last, that is, 14^th June. They reportedly got into a fight after which Sushant asked her to go back to her parents’ house. She had shared that Sushant had messaged her on 9^th June asking about her health, but she blocked him because she was upset that he didn’t call. Well recently buzz suggested that Sushant was seen dropping Rhea off to her house on 13^th June.

Slamming the reports, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde shared a new statement. He was quoted by ETimes saying, “I had said that once Rhea Chakraborty is out on bail we will start going after people, who defamed and tried to destroy her life n morale, for a two-minute glory on electronic media carrying fake news.” He went on to call out one such individual and stated, “One such person was Dimple Thawani, a neighbour of RC who claims she is an SSR fan and believes she is his soulmate due to a past life connection. She claims that someone told her that SSR dropped RC home on the 13th.”

Satish concluded, “It's a baseless rumour by a fan, who is part of the media circus and wants to share the limelight with others who claim to know SSR. Her statement was recorded by CBI today and you will all be glad to know what she said to CBI in her statement. I would request all honest Journalists to go to her now and record what she has to say. After spending a month in jail, Rhea was finally granted bail by the Bombay High Court on 7^th October. However, her brother Showik Chakraborty's plea was rejected.
