Rhea Chakraborty’s Lawyer Reveals Why They Filed A Probe Transfer Petition With The Supreme Court

The Sushant Singh Rajput and the Rhea Chakraborty case has taken some bizarre twists and turns. After Sushant’s father filed an F.I.R. against his son’s rumoured girlfriend with the Patna police, rather murky revelations have come to the fore. Sushant’s family has been alleging, Rhea has been trying to brush everything under the carpet.

On 29 July, Rhea filed a Supreme Court petition to transfer the investigation from the Patna police to the Mumbai police. Her lawyer Satish Maneshinde revealed what made them file a petition with the apex judicial court.

Maneshinde told Pinkvilla, "We have moved the supreme court with the plea to transfer the investigation to Mumbai as the call of action arose in Mumbai and investigations are pending in Mumbai under section 174 of the CRPC."
