Richa Chadha Opens Up About Wedding Plans With Ali Fazal; Says They Are Used To The Distance Now

Fukrey co-stars and love birds Richa Chadha-Ali Fazal were all set to tie the nuptial knot this year in the month of April. They were organizing everything themselves and had finalized a few things too, but everything had to be cancelled as a nationwide lockdown was declared in the month of March after the outbreak of novel coronavirus. In a chat with Mumbai Mirror, the actress revealed that the invites were yet to be sent out and now they will take a call only when normalcy returns.

Ali and Richa, who stay in the same city, have not met each other since the past 2 months but have been in constant touch through video calls. In fact, every now and then they share adorable throwback pictures on social media and their fans couldn’t be more delighted! Talking about the same, Richa shared, “We could have asked for permission from our respective housing societies, but it would have been a risk. So, we avoided meeting.” She went on to add that they are used to the distance now and she enjoys her ‘me-time’ on and off.

Meanwhile on the professional front, Ali and Richa are expected to reunite on the big screen for Fukrey 3. Director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, who helmed the first two installments of the comedy series, recently shared that the team is contemplating a story which would revolve around COVID-19.
