    RIP: Actress Vidya Sinha Breathes Her Last

    One of the best actresses of her times, Vidya Sinha, is majorly remembered for her performance in Choti Si Baat and Rajnigandha. She always had the desire of becoming a mainstream actress. All the roles she used to be part was was that of a common Indian girl. She tried her best to change her image but that could not help her career.

    Today, the actress has breathed her last.

    She was recently rushed to a Mumbai hospital in a critical condition with aggravated heart and lung disorders. She was kept on ventilator support and was being monitored constantly. Vidya played the role of Bebe, Sikandar’s mother in the popular Star Plus show Kulfi Kumar Bajewala. Since a long time, the actress was suffering and hence she was missing from Kulfi Kumar Bajewala for a few months as well. That was when she was hospitalised but later she did recover. She got back on the show few weeks ago and was seen playing her part.

    The 72-year-old Bollywood actress, who has had several TV outings in recent times, had been suffering from a chronic lung condition since a few years, which got aggravated suddenly. She developed severe breathlessness and had to be rushed to Mumbai’s Criticare Hospital in Juhu, few days ago.

    Vidya Sinha had a lovely pairing opposite actor Amol Palekar, especially in the film Choti Si Baat. The other films that she shined in were Saboot and Pati Patni Aur Woh. In recent years, the actress has been increasingly seen on the small screen, in shows such as Kavyanjali, Bhabhi and Bahu Rani. Her TV appearances are interluded by sporadic Bollywood appearances. She was seen in the 2011 Salman Khan hit, Bodyguard.
