Ekta Kapoor took to her social media handle today to pay a special Balaji Telefilms tribute to her friend, co-worker and the beautiful person that Sushant was. She remembered how he would never discuss his upcoming projects but would instead be more interested in talking about astrology, astronomy, meta physics, meaning of Shiva or discoveries of stars at NASA. Ekta wrote: “From you being spotted at prithvi cafe by the Balaji team for TV to you becoming India’s brightest star you did it all! We will celebrate you everyday! Hope you are with your mom now who you missed so much!”

Sushant began his career in acting with the television show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. However, it was with Ekta Kapoor’s Pavitra Rishta that he rose to prominence as a talented actor. He went on to carve a niche for himself in the Hindi film industry and starred in many masterpieces such as Kai Po Che!, PK, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath and Chhichhore.

He left us too soon, but will continue to live on in our hearts forever.
