Rohit Shetty Arranges For Stay Of Police Personnel On COVID Duty At 11 Hotels, Earns The Gratitude Of Commissioner Of Police

Rohit Shetty’s respect and adoration for the services the police goes far beyond the films of his cop universe. The filmmaker proves this fact as he has during these trying times arranged for the stay of police personnel in hotels and has been appreciated by the Commissioner of Mumbai Police in a recent tweet.

On Saturday, Commissioner of Police Param Bir Singh thanked the filmmaker in a tweet revealing that he has arranged for the unlimited stay of police personnel on COVID duty in 11 hotels.

Rohit had in April as well earned the gratitude of the police when had arranged for the stay of personnel on lockdown duty in 8 hotels with meals so that they are able to rest, eat and change while they help ward off the pandemic by going reporting to duty everyday while everyone remained indoors.

Sonu Sood, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan are some of the other stars in Bollywood who have been hailed as humanitarian heroes during the lockdown and have been doing every bit to help with donations, sending migrants home and offering help at whatever end required.

On the work front, Rohit Shetty’s next Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar is due to release on Diwali 2020.
