For the uninitiated, Rhea and Sushant were supposed to begin shooting for Rumy Jafry’s upcoming rom-com, which would mark the couples’ first film together. Well, in a recent chat with E-Times, Rumy has revealed that the two did not say anything to him about the alleged breakup. The filmmaker shared, “He never told me about it, and Rhea, too, did not say anything of the sort. The last time I discussed this project with him was in the first week of June. They were together on the call. In fact, it was Rhea who got him on the call.”

Rumy also remembered his last chat with Sushant two days before the actor’s sudden demise. He said, “Then, on June 12, I had messaged him, and he was very excited about the project.” The romantic comedy would have explored Sushant’s dancing skills and would have showcased him in a different light. The shoot was supposed to begin in May but dates were postponed due to the extension of the nationwide lockdown.

While it’s still not clear if Rhea and Sushant ever broke up, we hope the actress finds the strength to deal with the loss. Sushant may not be amongst us, but he will continue to live on in our hearts and memories.
